Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers about the POCSO Act Awareness Program, child safety, and how our platform works.
01What is the goal of this platform?
To educate young children on personal safety, help them distinguish between safe and unsafe touch, and guide them in seeking help — in alignment with the POCSO Act.
02Is the platform safe for children?
Yes. Ensuring child safety is our top priority. We adhere to strict privacy protocols and refrain from collecting unnecessary personal data.
03Is my child's data safe on the platform?
Absolutely. We use end-to-end encryption and store only anonymized learning logs.
04Is the content age appropriate?
Absolutely. The content is tailored for young children in three age bands — 6–8, 9–10, and 11–12 — using simple language, stories, and activities children can understand.
05Can schools integrate this platform?
Yes. Schools are encouraged to incorporate the platform into Life Skills or Value Education curricula. Bulk access, implementation guides, and training support are provided.
06Is the content available in local languages?
Currently in English only.
07Is the course online or offline?
Currently, the course is available only online to ensure up-to-date content and to track safety.
08Is this a government-recognized program?
While aligned with child safety laws, this is a private educational initiative and not officially certified by the government.
09Can users interact with each other?
No. To ensure safety, peer-to-peer communication is disabled.
10How can children report abuse or seek help?
Our modules teach how to identify trusted adults and use helplines. Help is also available via our platform and trained counsellors.
11What is the POCSO Act?
The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, is an Indian law that safeguards children (under 18 years) against sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and pornography. It ensures child-sensitive procedures throughout the judicial process.
12What is Privacy & Institutional Responsibility?
- Child identity protection: The media is prohibited from publishing names or images.
- Responsibility of educational institutions: Schools and hostels must report abuse and ensure a safe environment.
- Cyber abuse: Covered under the Act, including online grooming and solicitation.
